Our Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE the Word of God is foundational to the Christian faith, being divinely inspired, infallible, and the prime and ultimate authority for the church (2 Timothy 3:16-17). God made the authority of Scripture clear from the first time it was given (Exodus 34:27). His Word is everlasting and unchanging in nature (Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35).
This emphasizes the foundational role of the Bible in Christianity. It asserts that the Bible is considered divinely inspired, meaning that it is believed to be written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Additionally, the text is viewed as infallible, meaning it is without error, and serves as the ultimate authority for the Church. The references to 2 Timothy 3:16-17 highlight the belief in the divine inspiration of Scripture, emphasizing its importance in teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Furthermore, the verses from Exodus and Isaiah underscore the eternal and unchanging nature of God's Word, suggesting that the Bible's authority and relevance are consistent across time.
What Is Our Vision?
Reforming God’s people back to a Heart of Worship
God’s Vision From the Beginning
It is important that we understand that from the beginning, long ago, God has always been a God of vision and purpose. He reveals His will to His people, and He calls us to walk in it faithfully (Habakkuk 2:2–3). The Church is not built on human wisdom or personal ambition, but upon the Word of God and the vision that He imparts through His Spirit (Proverbs 29:18; John 16:13).
Therefore, everything we do as a body must align with the Scriptures. Our teaching, our service, our worship, our discipleship, and even the way we live our daily lives must be firmly rooted in the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17). The Word is our foundation, and nothing in the Church should be allowed to exist outside of its truth (Matthew 7:24–25).
